Haskell Free Library - Using the Library
Borrowing
- Anyone is welcome to obtain a free library card from the Haskell Free Library.
- Print material, audio books and DVD & VHS films are loaned for two weeks.
- Overdue fees: 2¢ per day for print and audio material and $1 per film.
- You may renew materials in person or by phone; however, items on a waiting list may not be renewed.
- You may reserve most materials by phone or in person and will be notified when they are available. Items can be held for up to 3 days.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
- If we do not own the material you want, we will attempt to borrow it from another library.
- ILL request forms are available at the Circulation Desk.
Patron Requests
- While suggestions are welcome, the final responsibility for the selection of materials lies with the librarians.
Computer Use
- The Haskell offers three public access computer stations; printing is 20¢ per page.
- All customers must comply with our Acceptable Use Internet policy.
- Customers can sign up for one 30-minute appointment per day. If the next appointment time is available you may use an additional 30 minutes.
- Please call ahead or sign up at the Circulation Desk.
- Children under 14 must have a permission slip on file in order to use Haskell computers.
- We do not filter our public Internet access stations.
